IBA gets OK for U.K. PET facility

Radioisotope manufacturer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has received approval from U.K. officials to begin the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals at its new PET production facility in Dinnington, South Yorkshire.

The Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based vendor now has 35 PET production centers around the world, 17 of which are in Europe.
