XRHealth and HTC Vive have launched a virtual reality platform to help mitigate anxiety in patients who are undergoing MRI exams and other high-intensity medical procedures.
The new system combines XRHealth software and HTC's VIVE Flow Glasses and is designed to distract patients and alleviate pain and anxiety while they are undergoing medical procedures such as MRIs, chemotherapy, surgery, insulin shots, giving birth, or burn trauma, the companies said.
