Outpatient radiology group SimonMed has announced plans to install prostate cancer detection software from developer CorTechs Labs.
RSI-MRI+ for Prostate by CorTechs Labs combines MRI restriction spectrum imaging (RSI) and artificial intelligence (AI) to help radiologists identify areas of restricted diffusion, which can be characteristic of aggressive cancer.
The postprocessing software will be available to clinicians in SimonMed's U.S. imaging network. Its implementation can help SimonMed clinicians better detect clinically significant prostate cancer using diffusion-weighted MRI, the companies noted.
