The monitor, which was recently cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, provides a resolution of 2,048 x 2,560, a luminance of 1,100 cd/m², and a contrast ratio of 1,800:1, the company said. The monitor is also suitable for reviewing breast MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasound, and features an internal front sensor that removes the need for an external calibration device, according to the vendor.

Using the company’s LG Calibration Studio software, users can also conduct DICOM calibration and quality assurance tests that comply with international quality control standards for medical monitors, LG noted.
