Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories has received an order for its RayStation treatment planning system from a center in Quebec.
The purchase is for the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux de l'Estrie - Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke. It includes a variety of modules, and the installation will simultaneously support approximately 20 users, RaySearch said. The majority of the order has been delivered and will generate revenue in the second quarter of 2018.
The center treats approximately 2,000 cancer patients a year, the company said.
