An expected easing of travel restrictions by the U.S. government has the RSNA looking forward to welcoming international attendees to its upcoming RSNA 2021 annual meeting in Chicago.
In early November, the U.S. government is expected to allow international travelers to enter the country if they can show proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and have tested negative for the virus within three days of travel, according to the RSNA. The society said that international attendees should also check with their country's travel requirements to get specific guidance.
The RSNA also announced in August that proof of vaccination will be required to attend the meeting, which will be held November 28 to December 2.
