Charlotte Radiology and healthcare investment firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe have formed the new radiology partnership U.S. Radiology Specialists.
The new physician-owned radiology partnership has designated John Perkins to be the group's first CEO and a member of the board of directors. Perkins formerly served as the CEO of global plasma protein therapeutics company Bio Products Laboratory and as executive vice president of global commercial operations for Talecris Biotherapeutics.
The company's goal is to be the premier physician-owned radiology partnership in the U.S., it said in a press release.
