Five measures have been added to the American College of Radiology (ACR) National Radiology Data Registry Qualified Clinical Data Registry and approved for 2025.
For the new Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance year, the additional measures approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) include the following:
- ACRad 43: DXA [dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry] improving reporting of true change in bone mineral density
- QMM 23: Low dose cancer screening recommendation for CT of chest with diagnosis of emphysema
- QMM 24: Acute rib fracture numbering on ED trauma patients
- QMM 27: Appropriate classification and follow-up imaging for incidental pancreatic cysts
- QMM 28: Reporting breast arterial calcification (BAC) on screening mammography
