Israeli digital x-ray technology developer Beam-X-Vision Medical has launched LDX4343, a new computed radiography (CR) system based on cesium-bromide plates.
Available for $6,000, LDX4343 acquires images in five seconds and comes with a five-year warranty, according to the vendor. The system focuses the scanning laser beam on the device's photostimulable storage phosphor plate and uses special lenses, Beam-X-Vision said.
