Siemens releases Siremobil Compact L

Siemens Medical Systems has released Siremobil Compact L, a mobile x-ray image intensifier system. A new version of the firm's Compact system, Compact L offers improved patient access and versatility, according to the Iselin, NJ-based vendor.

Compact L offers a larger C-arm, providing patient access with 30.7 inches of free space, a C-arm immersion depth of 28.7 inches, and a focus image intensifier distance of 39.4 inches, according to Siemens. Compact L weighs 566 pounds.

In addition, Compact L has the ability to scan up to 130 degrees, offering more angulations for orthopedics and pain management applications, according to Siemens. The system also features an x-ray tube that delivers more than 50 minutes of fluoroscopic time, according to the vendor.
