German PACS vendor medavis has inked a deal to acquire Softneta’s MedDream universal zero-footprint DICOM viewer.
MedDream is a web-based DICOM viewer for PACS servers for viewing, archiving, and transmitting medical images. The DICOM viewer can be integrated into any PACS system/VNA and is cleared in Europe and the U.S., medavis noted.
The acquisition expands medavis’ portfolio, with the MedDream viewer becoming a key component of the company’s referral and patient portal, it said.
