RaySearch Laboratories has secured a contract to provide the McLaren Proton Therapy Center in Flint, MI, with its treatment planning system RayStation.
The RayStation features technologies such as deep-learning segmentation, image deformation, adaptive planning, and fallback planning. RaySearch says this allows for automatic backup plans in the event of operational disruptions, as well as the ability to compare different modalities.
McLaren center is one of 51 of its kind in the U.S. Since 2018, its capacity has increased and it recently treated its 600th patient.
