IT developer Client Outlook and medical image sharing firm itMD have partnered to deliver a medical image exchange and viewing platform to support collaborative relationships between physicians, clinicians, radiologists, and patients, Client Outlook said.
The two firms will offer itMD's cloud-based image exchange application combined with Client Outlook's eUnity image viewer technology. The package will allow any authorized user to review uploaded or stored images through a Web browser or personal mobile device, according to Client Outlook.
