PACS software developer DR Systems has received another patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The patent (No. 7,787,672) describes methods for matching medical images according to user-defined rules, according to the vendor. In one use described in the patent filing, the matched medical images are displayed according to user-defined display rules such that the images can be visually compared according to the viewer's viewing preferences, DR Systems said.
DR Systems listed the patent's inventors as Dr. Evan Fram, Steven Greim, Dr. Murray Reicher, and John Schumacher.
