Canadian PACS firm RamSoft has installed its Ultrapro 2.0 PACS software at Merced Open Imaging Center in Merced, CA. Ultrapro is being used to transfer images from MR and ultrasound scanners to the PACS archive, as well as moving PACS images to a Kodak laser imager, e-mail, and radiologists' homes over a DSL Internet connection, according to the Toronto-based vendor.
