The 18th Symposium for Society of Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) generated record attendance. The conference, held May 3-6 in Salt Lake City, had total attendance of 1,700, nearly 30% higher than the previous year.
SCAR's exhibit hall also experienced strong growth, with vendor exhibits increasing 20% compared with last year's show. The 2002 meeting will be hosted by the Cleveland Clinic and will be held at the Cleveland Convention Center from May 2-5, according to the Great Falls, VA-based society.
