PACS and connectivity firm Merge Technologies has signed a five-year, $250,000 service contract with Methodist Healthcare of Memphis, TN. The contract for Merge's professional services division encompasses the five facilities that comprise the Methodist Healthcare - Memphis Hospitals, according to Milwaukee-based Merge.
Each of the facilities will have access to Merge's service offerings, including 24 x 7 remote support, hardware replacement, and a suite of value-added services to be rolled out in 2001, according to Merge. Currently, each of Methodist's facilities are interconnected and can send diagnostic image information across their system using the Merge Clinical Network, according to Merge.
