Siemens Healthineers is bringing its enterprise services portfolio to the U.S. market.
Previously available only to international customers, the vendor's Enterprise Services business line will provide hospitals and clinics with technology, equipment management services, and clinical workflow software under a risk-sharing model. Services will include transformation and advisory, asset management, and managed department services, according to Siemens.
For example, Siemens recently signed a 10-year managed equipment services contract in the U.K. that will encompass four sites and imaging for 530,000 patients. The firm said it has also inked an agreement with a hospital in the Netherlands to operate six new operating rooms beginning in early 2017.
