AHIMA names interim CEO

Rose Dunn has been named interim CEO at the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) after the departure of the organization's CEO and chief operating officer (COO) last month.

CEO Alan Dowling and COO Sandra Fuller both left the organization in May, confirmed Craig May, AHIMA director of public relations. AHIMA would not discuss details of the departure.

Dunn has been the COO of healthcare consulting firm First Class Solutions. She is also a former AHIMA president and board member.
