XACT Robotics has completed enrollment in a clinical trial that will evaluate the safety and accuracy of its XACT Robotics' ACE system for CT-guided percutaneous procedures in the lung.
XACT ACE is a hands-free system that boosts targeting accuracy and efficiency in these procedures, which can include ablations, biopsies, and drug delivery. It helps clinicians plan an instrument's route during the procedure and place it correctly, even if the target moves, according to the firm.
The trial will be conducted at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA, and Sarasota Interventional Radiology in Florida.
