Graphic-processor developer NVIDIA has announced the availability of its 3D Vision Pro, a new 3D stereoscopic system that shows the work of complex 3D designs in greater detail.
3D Vision Pro combines wireless, 120-Hz active-shutter glasses, a radiofrequency communications hub, and software that automatically transforms graphics applications into full stereoscopic 3D. It is designed to work in conjunction with NVIDIA's Quadro professional graphics products, according to the Santa Clara, CA, company.
The product enables physicians to view volumetric images from diagnostic imaging scans, including ultrasound, in 3D.
