Handheld ultrasound developer Vave Health has partnered with Touro University Nevada to provide medical students with wireless, pocket-sized ultrasound devices as part of their training.
The partnership will further students' education by not only introducing them to point-of-care-ultrasound but also allowing them to receive hands-on training in diverse settings. Vave Health will supply Touro's students with a personal wireless Vave ultrasound device and an ongoing Vave EduPlus Membership.
The membership gives students access to ultrasound experts and in-app content to provide clinical context and enhance preparation for medical exams. The agreement is the first time Vave has partnered with a medical school.
