Best Medical International of Fairfax, VA, has signed an agreement to acquire all the vascular brachytherapy (VBT) assets of Norcross, GA-based Novoste.
Best designs, distributes, and manufactures radiation products for the oncology, urology, neurology, and gynecology markets.
Completion of the deal is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the issuance of regulatory licenses necessary for the continuation of the VBT business to Best, and the closing of the previously announced merger between Novoste and extremity MRI developer ONI Medical Systems of Wilmington, MA.
