Oncology veteran Scott Mestman will join Siemens Medical Systems Oncology Care Systems, the company said today. As director of sales strategy and development, Mestman will be responsible for developing strategies to drive the firm's market growth in the oncology sector.
Mestman comes to his new job with more than 30 years of experience in the oncology sector, most of it in the oncology imaging business of Palo Alto, CA-based Varian Medical Systems. He has also held a wide range of radiation oncology industry positions in direct sales, product management and engineering, according to Siemens' Concord, CA-based oncology division.
