Hyperfine highlights first patients enrolled in PRIME study

Hyperfine has enrolled the first patients in the Portable Rapid Imaging for Medical Emergencies (PRIME) study.

Building off the previous success of the Action PMR study, this new research aims to evaluate the potential of AI-powered portable MRI technology for triaging in the emergency department.

The study will be conducted at the Yale School of Medicine and will assess the technology’s potential effectiveness and efficiency as a triage tool for various emergency medical conditions.

The PRIME study is being performed using the recently released next-generation Swoop system powered by Optive AI software. It will also address challenges to timely access to emergency MRI.
