Subtle Medical inks deal with Strategic Radiology for MRI AI suite

AI software developer Subtle Medical has partnered with the Strategic Radiology coalition to offer members the SubtleElite AI-powered MRI suite.

The suite includes three software applications -- SubtleHD, SubtleSynth, and SubtleAlign -- and is designed to increase efficiency, throughput, and diagnostic confidence for those using legacy MRI scanners, according to the vendor.

Subtle highlighted that SubtleHD improves quality with up to 80% faster MRI sequences; SubtleSynth offers "zero min" synthetic [short-tau inversion-recovery] STIR images, and SubtleAlign automates image alignment for faster reads and reduced manual work.

By enabling shorter scan durations, imaging centers can add more patient slots per day, increasing throughput without additional capital investment -- and reducing wait times for critical imaging procedures, according to subtle. Strategic Radiology now encompasses 43 private radiology practices representing more than 2,000 radiologists, according to the announcement.
