The American College of Radiology (ACR) will offer Belgium-based icometrix’s brain MRI AI software through its Alzheimer’s Network for Treatment and Diagnostics (ALZ-NET).
ALZ-NET is a voluntary healthcare provider-enrolled network collecting real-world clinical and imaging data from people evaluated for or treated with new Alzheimer’s disease treatments. Icometrix’s icobrain aria MRI software automates the detection, quantification, and grading of amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA), side effects associated with the treatments.
Participating imaging facilities in ALZ-NET will be offered discounted access to the software to encourage standardized ARIA monitoring, icometrix said. CPT codes 0865T and 0866T were issued for icobrain aria in 2024, the company added.
Imaging facilities and/or clinicians interested in participating in ALZ-NET can learn more and begin their registration process on the ALZ-NET website.
