The Indianapolis site, Positron Imaging Center of Indiana, is US Oncology's first mobile PET facility and the first such site in Indiana, according to the company. The center was opened by Oncology and Hematology Associates on June 14.
The Austin facility, the PET Imaging Center of Central Texas, is set to launch on June 21 and will be operated by the Southwest Cancer Center. It will be located in the Bailey Square Medical Center within the Austin Radiological Association's offices.
