Interventional device developer Boston Scientific said that it has acquired privately held medical device developer EndoTex Interventional Systems of Cupertino, CA.
The acquisition follows the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of EndoTex's NexStent carotid stent system, which was studied in the same clinical trial as Natick, MA-based Boston Scientific's FilterWire EZ embolic protection system.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
