Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has made the first installation worldwide of its new radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) system, FluoroSpeed X1.
Introduced in 2019, FluoroSpeed X1 is a conventional table R/F room designed to offer high image quality, improved workflow, and enhance operator efficiency, according to the company. The system can perform a range of clinical applications, and it includes a 17 x 17-inch digital detector.
The milestone system was installed at Salem Township Hospital in Illinois.
