Philips to bring Spirit processing to Allura cath labs

Philips Medical Systems will be migrating its Spirit image processing feature to its entire family of Integris Allura cardiac catheterization labs.

Previously available only on the Bothell, WA-based vendor's Allura flat detector lab, Spirit combines three real-time image processing forms to produce more pronounced blood vessels, sharper images, and reduced noise interference, according to Philips. Spirit will be available immediately with new Integris Allura 9-inch cath labs and within the year on Allura multifunctional and Allura biplane cath labs, Philips said.
