Radiology AI software developer Qure.ai is partnering with Blackford, using the latter's AI platform to deploy the neurocritical AI software qER at Milton Keynes University Hospital National Health Service Foundation Trust.
The hospital will use qER to automate the detection of abnormalities on noncontrast CT scans, including intracranial hemorrhages caused by trauma, accidents, or strokes, according to a press statement.
qER has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has EU Medical Device Regulation Class IIb status.
