Editor's note: As part of the celebration of AuntMinnie.com's upcoming 25th anniversary, we're presenting 25 for 25 -- a series featuring our most popular content for each of the last 25 years. New articles will be published each Monday up until our official anniversary at RSNA 2024.

Our article announcing the winners of our annual Minnies award is always highly popular among our members. Not surprisingly, our 2002 edition took top honors for the year. Interestingly, the ongoing shortage of qualified staff -- a major challenge for radiology today -- was also voted the most significant threat to radiology in 2002.

Welcome to the 2002 edition of the Minnies, AuntMinnie.com’s annual event to recognize the best of radiology!

Voting in the final round is completed. Below are the final results in each of our 15 categories. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to everyone who participated!
