(Booth 4106) Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, will demonstrate its Orbis clinical information system (CIS), focusing attention on Orbis Live and Orbis Care, at the 2007 RSNA conference.
Orbis Live is the engine for the process-controlled, standardized Orbis application architecture, as well as the foundation for a facility's electronic medical record (EMR) system. It features administrative processes, including admission/transfer/discharge (ADT), order entry, results reporting, document management, and general and administrative admissions.
Orbis Care offers a charting and documentation module to enhance the support of documentation requirements within nursing departments.
Also on display in the Agfa booth will be new clinical applications and server-based 3D tools, such as maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reformatting (MPR), and volume 3D, to enhance workflow of both radiologists and clinicians. Clinical applications at RSNA will include virtual colonoscopy, clinical decision support, and registration and fusion technologies.
